Job description
As a Teaching Assistant, the work centres on care work, social work, youth groups, mentoring, residential support… if you’ve been there for others before, those skills transfer beautifully into school life. It would suit someone who can bring being that calm, reassuring adult who makes school feel manageable to the role.

What you need
- A DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
- Backgrounds in care, social work, youth work or similar are highly valued.
- Someone who brings empathy, patience and a sense of humour when it counts.
Practical information
- Two proofs of address, such as a driving licence, utility bill, council tax bill or P45/P60.
- CV covering the last 10 years of work or education, with any gaps explained.
- In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
