What the role involves
- SEN Support Teaching Assistant focuses on we are currently recruiting sen support teaching assistants to work across a range of welcoming and inclusive mainstream primary schools i.
- Supporting pupils with a range of SEN including Autism (ASC), ADHD, speech and language needs, and SEMH.
- Provide 1:1 and small group support within the classroom.
- Assisting teachers in creating an engaging and inclusive learning environment.
Skills and requirements
- Experience working with children or young people with SEN (school-based experience desirable).
- Valuable experience across a variety of school settings.
- All candidates must undertake or have undertaken a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and subscribe to the DBS Update Service.
Confirmed role details
- Opportunities are available for flexible daily supply work, long-term placements, and permanent positions may also arise for the right candidates.
- All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
- In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
