SEN support worker
Job description
The Support Worker position centres on providing personal care, including feeding, changing, and toileting. It would suit someone who can bring caring, patient, and committed to supporting children with SEN to the role.
Who the work supports
As a Support Worker, you will play a key part in helping pupils learn, develop, and thrive. Working closely with teachers and other professionals, you will provide tailored support to ensure each child’s needs are met, both academically and personally.
How support shows up
Providing personal care, including feeding, changing, and toileting. Supporting children with physical needs, including the safe use of mobility aids or hoists (training provided). Assisting with classroom activities, sensory learning, and structured routines.

What needs to be in place
- All candidates must undertake or have undertaken a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.

- Full-time/Part-time (Temp, Temp-to-Perm, or Permanent).

- All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
