As a SEN Teacher, the work centres on monitoring, record and celebrate student progress, ensuring every learner moves forward at the right pace. It would suit someone who can bring patient, consistent, and calm in a learner-focused classroom setting to the role.
Role overview
For over 19 years, Options Autism has provided specialist care and education for children, young people, and adults with autism, complex needs, and learning difficulties. Our new specialist school caters for young people with complex communication needs, autism and associated learning and emotional needs and has the capacity for 30 students.
Main responsibilities
Monitoring, record and celebrate student progress, ensuring every learner moves forward at the right pace. Teaching and inspire individual students or small groups, following our curriculum and educational frameworks. Leading on subject areas across key stages, coordinating planning, assessment and reporting.

Requirements
- Relevant SEN, teaching, or learner-support experience.
