Working closely with a Senior Teaching Assistant and up to 3 Teaching Assistants. Teaching a class of pupils in Years 3–6.

Supporting learners through a calm, structured classroom routine. The school supports around 60 pupils across 6 classes, all of whom have EHCPs and needs relating to autism and communication/interaction. Supporting children with ASD and complex communication and interaction needs.

What needs to be in place

• Alternatively, if no QTS, strong experience teaching pupils with autism and/or complex social communication needs.
• Full-time, Monday to Friday.
• Ability to plan, prepare, and adapt lessons to meet a wide range of needs.
