  • Deliver, and assess lessons for pupils with additional needs.
  • Develop and implement personalised learning plans and EHCP targets.
  • Supporting pupils academically, socially, and emotionally.
  • Promote independence, confidence, and positive learning behaviours.
  • Work closely with teaching assistants to provide classroom support.
  • Record pupil progress accurately.

Skills and requirements

  • Relevant teaching, classroom, childcare, QTS, SEN, safeguarding, or early-years experience may be required.

Candidate fit

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Have experience teaching pupils with SEND, ideally in a primary setting.
  • Demonstrate excellent classroom management and organisational skills.
