What the role involves
- Deliver, and assess lessons for pupils with additional needs.
- Develop and implement personalised learning plans and EHCP targets.
- Supporting pupils academically, socially, and emotionally.
- Promote independence, confidence, and positive learning behaviours.
- Work closely with teaching assistants to provide classroom support.
- Record pupil progress accurately.
Skills and requirements
- Relevant teaching, classroom, childcare, QTS, SEN, safeguarding, or early-years experience may be required.
Candidate fit
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Have experience teaching pupils with SEND, ideally in a primary setting.
- Demonstrate excellent classroom management and organisational skills.
