SEN Teacher focuses on deliver differentiated lessons tailored to individual learning needs.
What the role involves
- Deliver differentiated lessons tailored to individual learning needs.
- Supporting pupils with a variety of SEN, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, speech and language needs, and learning difficulties.
- Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment.
- Maintain accurate records in line with EHCP targets.
- Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists, parents and external professionals.
- Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing.
Skills and requirements
- Relevant teaching, classroom, childcare, QTS, SEN, safeguarding, or early-years experience may be required.
Candidate fit
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS or equivalent).
- Experience working with children or young people with SEN.
- Strong understanding of EHCPs and differentiated learning approaches.

- Deliver engaging and personalised learning to pupils with a range of additional needs, helping them achieve their full potential academically, socially, and emotionally.
