SEN Teaching Assistant 1 to 1 focuses on assisting in the delivery of differentiated lessons, ensuring the student is engaged and able to access the curriculum.
What the role involves
- Assisting in the delivery of differentiated lessons, ensuring the student is engaged and able to access the curriculum.
- Supporting the student in their social and emotional development, helping them to build resilience and confidence.
- Implement individual learning plans and behavior management strategies tailored to the student’s needs.
- Provide feedback to teachers and other professionals about the student’s progress, challenges, and achievements.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive environment to help the student succeed.
- Supporting the student with personal care or other specific needs, as required.
Skills and requirements
- Relevant teaching, classroom, childcare, QTS, SEN, safeguarding, or early-years experience may be required.
