Job description

As a Teaching Assistant, the work centres on sEND Teaching Assistant – Autism, SEMH and ADHD Support (Summer Term Opportunities | Short-Term & Long-Term Supply). It would suit someone who can bring encouraging focus and positive behaviour through structure and reassurance to the role.

Supporting pupils with Autism, SEMH needs, and ADHD in classroom and structured learning settings. Helping children navigate transitions, routines, and the school day with confidence.

What needs to be in place

  • Experience working with children or young people in schools, care, youth work, or similar settings.

  • All candidates must undertake or have undertaken a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and subscribe to the DBS Update Service.

Job details

  • In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
  • All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
  • Additional detail: Training or development support may be provided.
