Job description

This Teaching Assistant role is focused on maintaining accurate records and contribute to reviews and progress reports. It would suit someone who can bring commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children to the role.

How the role is set up

Provide 1:1 support to a pupil with SEN, both inside and outside the classroom. We are seeking a caring, committed and enthusiastic SEN 1:1 Teaching Assistant to provide individualised support for a pupil with special educational needs.

Where someone would start

Maintaining accurate records and contribute to reviews and progress reports. Supporting learning activities tailored to the pupil’s needs and EHCP targets. Assisting with emotional regulation, behaviour management and social interaction.

Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.

What is expected

  • Relevant SEN, teaching, or learner-support experience.
