Sen Teaching Assistant
Teaching Assistant focuses on supporting pupils with pmld/cldd in all aspects of their learning and development.
What the role involves
- Supporting pupils with PMLD/CLDD in all aspects of their learning and development.
- Assisting with personal care and mobility, including moving and handling and hoisting (full training provided if needed).
- Supporting pupils with complex medical needs, including those with epilepsy.
- Using communication aids and sensory resources to engage and motivate pupils.
- Working collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and other support staff to deliver individualised education.
- Dedicated consultant support throughout your placement.
Skills and requirements
- Previous personal or professional experience supporting children or young people with PMLD/CLDD (school, residential, or care setting).
- Understanding of safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare.
- A patient, positive, and compassionate approach.
- Have a Enhanced Child DBS or willing to obtain.

- Cambridge, CB24.
- £89.38 - £100 per day (dependant on experience).
- Full-time / Long-term / Temp-to-perm.
