Sen Teaching Assistant
Teaching Assistant focuses on supporting students on a 1:1 basis and in small groups.
What the role involves
- Supporting students on a 1:1 basis and in small groups.
- Assisting teachers in delivering engaging lessons and activities.
- Supporting students with SEN, SEMH, and behavioural needs.
- Encourage positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment.
- Work closely with teaching staff, SENCOs, and pastoral teams.
Skills and requirements
- Experience working within SEN, SEMH, or education settings preferred.
- Strong communication and behaviour management skills.
- Passion for supporting children and young people.
- Full UK driving licence and own vehicle preferred.
