  • Encourage pupils to build confidence, independence, and positive learning behaviours.
  • Supporting the implementation of individual education and behaviour plans.
  • Help maintain a safe, welcoming, and inclusive learning environment.

Skills and requirements

  • Previous experience supporting children or young people with Special Educational Needs is desirable.
  • Good understanding of inclusive learning practices and behaviour support strategies.
  • Ability to adapt support techniques to meet individual pupil needs.
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply).
