As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils with special educational needs, ensuring they thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. Local Assignments: Work across various schools in the Selby and East Riding area, fostering learning and growth in young learners.
Main responsibilities
Provide 1:1 and group support for pupils with SEN, including ASD, ADHD, and learning difficulties. Supporting daily classroom activities while maintaining a safe and nurturing learning space. Monitoring and assess progress, offering valuable feedback to teachers and the SENCo.
Requirements
- A relevant Teaching Assistant qualification is preferred but not essential with sufficient classroom experience.
- Relevant teaching, instruction, or learner-support experience.
