SEN Teaching Assistant
Teaching Assistant focuses on provide dedicated 1:1 support throughout the school day.
What the role involves
- Provide dedicated 1:1 support throughout the school day.
- Supporting the pupil to access learning in a safe and positive way.
- Implement agreed behaviour management strategies.
- Build a trusting and consistent relationship with the child.
- Work closely with the class teacher, SENCO, and external professionals.
- Encourage engagement, independence, and positive outcomes.
Skills and requirements
- Previous experience supporting children with SEN and/or behavioural needs.
- Confident supporting pupils who require close supervision.
- Calm, resilient, and physically active approach.
- Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
Confirmed role details
- Full Time | Long Term.
- Support a child with additional needs who requires close supervision throughout the school day.
- £95- £100 per day (dependent on experience and qualifications).
- Potential for future permanent opportunities.
