Sen Teaching Assistant
Teaching Assistant focuses on provide dedicated 1:1 support for students with complex asd needs.
What the role involves
- Provide dedicated 1:1 support for students with complex ASD needs.
- Supporting students’ academic, emotional, and social development.
- Assisting students in accessing classroom activities and learning tasks.
- Implement personalised support strategies and behaviour plans.
- Build strong and positive relationships with students.
- Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and other support staff.
Skills and requirements
- Minimum 1 year experience supporting children with high-needs ASD.
- Recent primary school-based experience.
- Experience supporting SEN students on a 1:1 basis.
- Calm, patient, and resilient approach to supporting learners.
Confirmed role details
- £110 – £115 per day (depending on experience).
- Long Term, Full-time.
- 8:30 AM – 3:45 PM.
- This rewarding role involves providing tailored 1:1 support for students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and high-level needs.
