SEN Teaching Assistant KS3 focuses on be working with a class of 12 year 9 pupils, providing support to the pupils and working alongside other teaching assistants and the class teacher.

What the role involves

  • Be working with a class of 12 Year 9 pupils, providing support to the pupils and working alongside other Teaching Assistants and the Class Teacher.
  • Ideally also have Team Teach training or an understanding of the process.
  • Hays Education are able to provide theirmitted candidates with access to Team Teach Training and also to free online Safeguarding and Child Protection Training.

Skills and requirements

  • Have recent experience working as an SEN Teaching Assistant and have experience of working with children with Autism.
