This Teaching Assistant role is focused on providing one‑to‑one or small‑group support to pupils with SEN, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, or learning difficulties. It would suit someone who can bring patient, consistent, and calm in a learner-focused classroom setting to the role.
How the role is set up
Overview We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with special educational needs in a school setting. Support pupils with classroom activities, ensuring they remain engaged and on task.
Where someone would start
Provide one‑to‑one or small‑group support to pupils with SEN, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, or learning difficulties. Assisting in implementing individual education plans (IEPs) and behaviour support plans. Monitoring and record pupil progress and report concerns to the class teacher or SENCO.

What is expected
- In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
- Experience working with children with SEN (school or care setting).
- All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
