This Teaching Assistant role is focused on this is a rewarding opportunity to work with young people who are currently not accessing mainstream education, helping to re-engage them with learning and providing consistent, ta. It would suit someone who can bring warm, steady communication with children and families to the role.

Role overview

Opportunity for continuity through to September 2026. Helping pupils re-engage with education in and out of the classroom.

Main responsibilities

This is a rewarding opportunity to work with young people who are currently not accessing mainstream education, helping to re-engage them with learning and providing consistent, ta. supporting learners and helping maintain a positive learning environment. Able to support learners with patience and structure.

Requirements

  • Experience supporting children or young people (SEN/behaviour preferred).
  • Teaching Personnel is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
  • In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
