SEN Teaching Assistant
Job description
As a Teaching Assistant, the work centres on supporting students across the curriculum, adapting approaches to meet individual needs. It would suit someone who can bring contribute to a positive, inclusive environment where every young person is valued to the role.

What you would be doing
Supporting students across the curriculum, adapting approaches to meet individual needs. Supporting personal care and, where necessary, physical intervention in line with training. Work with learners with PMLD, autism, and complex medical needs to achieve their goals.

What you need
- Declare all convictions and cautions (including those considered “spent,” unless protected under DBS filtering rules) to assess suitability for working with children.
- All successful applicants will be subject to pre-employment checks, including an enhanced DBS check.
- All candidates must undertake or have undertaken a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
Practical information
- £22,996 – £25,068 (actual salary, dependent on experience and qualifications).
- 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday (8:30am – 5:00pm).
- Permanent, Full-Time (Term Time Only).
- In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
