This Teaching Assistant role is focused on supporting pupils during crises and dysregulated moments. It would suit someone who can bring be calm, resilient, and emotionally intelligent to the role.

The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. The school supports children who may have struggled in mainstream education due to challenging behaviour, emotional dysregulation, or adverse childhood experiences.

Main responsibilities

Supporting pupils during crises and dysregulated moments. Maintaining safeguarding and wellbeing standards. Supporting pupils during transitions and unstructured times.

Requirements

  • Have experience supporting SEMH or behaviour needs.
  • Relevant teaching, instruction, or learner-support experience.
