Teaching Assistant focuses on delivering targeted sen support through one-to-one and small group interventions.

What the role involves

• Delivering targeted SEN support through one-to-one and small group interventions.
• Assisting the class teacher in planning and delivering personalised learning activities.
• Review of Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
• Help create a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment.
• Work closely with the class teacher, SENCO, and external specialists to support pupil progress.
• Monitoring and adapt support strategies based on individual pupil development.

Skills and requirements

• Relevant teaching, classroom, childcare, QTS, SEN, safeguarding, or early-years experience may be required.

Confirmed role details

• Year 1 SEN Teaching Assistant – Full-Time.
• 8:30am – 3:30pm, Monday to Friday.
• This full-time role focuses on delivering tailored one-to-one and small group support for pupils with Special Educational Needs.
