The school supports primary-age children with a wide range of needs, including Autism, Down Syndrome, ADHD, learning difficulties, speech and language needs, and physical disabilit.
What you would be doing
Work closely in a class of 8 to 10 students, alongside the class teacher and another teaching assistant, to help create a fun and engaging learning environment. Supporting children with their communication and social skills through sensory play and interactive activities. This Specialist school have a big emphasis on hands-on learning, and making a difference.
