Job description

As a Teaching Assistant, the work centres on work closely with SENCO and teaching staff. It would suit someone who can bring warm, steady communication with children and families to the role.

Role overview

This inclusive school setting is committed to supporting pupils with a range of additional needs, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH and learning difficulties. Provide 1:1 and small group SEN support.

Main responsibilities

Work closely with SENCO and teaching staff. Supporting pupils with EHCP targets. Promote emotional wellbeing and engagement.

Requirements

  • Experience supporting pupils with SEN preferred.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply.
