SEN Teaching Assistants

The SEN Teaching Assistants position centres on working 1:1 or in small groups, particularly with pupils who need a little extra support. It would suit someone who can bring building positive relationships, you’ll be a familiar, trusted face in the classroom to the role.

What you would be doing

Working 1:1 or in small groups, particularly with pupils who need a little extra support. Working closely with teachers and SENCOs to support individual learning plans. supporting learners and helping maintain a positive learning environment.

What you need

• Great experience if you’re considering teaching, psychology, or youth work.
• Experience working with young people, in schools or similar settings.
• All candidates must undertake or have undertaken a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and subscribe to the DBS Update Service.

Practical information

• Full-time, consistent work in supportive secondary schools.
• In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
• All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
• Barking | Full-Time | Immediate Start.
