Role overview
Working closely with teaching staff, senior leaders, parents, and external agencies. Advising and supporting staff on inclusive classroom practice.
Main responsibilities
The school places a clear emphasis on inclusion, wellbeing, and personalised support, ensuring pupils with additional needs are well supported to thrive academically and socially. Coordinating interventions and support strategies for pupils with additional needs. Monitoring pupil progress and contributing to whole-school improvement.
Requirements
- Experience supporting pupils with SEND in a school setting.
- NASENCO qualification (or willingness to complete if not already held).
- Strong knowledge of SEND legislation and EHCP processes.
