Job description

This Teaching Assistant opportunity is built around line managing and supporting Teaching Assistants within the classroom. It would suit someone who can bring warm, steady communication with children and families to the role.

Role overview

Providing 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SENDSupporting children with Autism, ADHD, and SEMH needs using tailored strategies. Working closely with teaching staff to support pupil progress and wellbeing.

Main responsibilities

Line managing and supporting Teaching Assistants within the classroom. Covering classes and delivering pre-planned lessons in the absence of the teacher. Able to support learners with patience and structure.

Requirements

  • Experience supporting pupils with behaviours that challenge.
  • Relevant teaching, instruction, or learner-support experience.
