SEND Teacher (full-time, temporary)
Tameside
£800 - £1100 per week PAYE (salary is dependent on experience and/or qualifications)
Start date: September 2026
The School and Role
A vibrant and highly regarded special needs school in Tameside is seeking a dedicated full-time SEND Teacher to deliver engaging, personalised learning for pupils with Autism and complex needs. Supporting students aged 4–19, the school provides outstanding multi-sensory education and care within a nurturing, well-resourced environment where individual progress is celebrated and every child is valued.
Pupils’ abilities and learning profiles vary widely, offering you the opportunity to use your creativity, flexibility, and professional expertise to adapt teaching across a broad, meaningful curriculum. You will work closely with experienced support staff, therapists, and senior leaders to create inclusive learning experiences that help pupils build confidence, independence, and life skills.
This is a highly rewarding role for teachers who are passionate about specialist education and are seeking a setting where relationships, collaboration, and pupil wellbeing sit alongside academic development.
