SEND Teacher – PMLD & Sensory Curriculum

SEND Teacher focuses on delivering tailored lessons to pupils with pmld.

What the role involves

• Delivering tailored lessons to pupils with PMLD.
• Plan and differentiate engaging lessons to meet EHCP outcomes and developmental milestones.
• Work closely with support staff and parents/carers to ensure a consistent and supportive learning environment.
• Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and safe learning space where every student can thrive.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience teaching in an SEN setting (or strong SEN knowledge within a mainstream environment).

Skills and requirements

• Relevant teaching, classroom, childcare, QTS, SEN, safeguarding, or early-years experience may be required.

Confirmed role details

• Full-time, Long-term.
• £1100 – £1500 per week (dependent on experience).
• Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm.
