What the role involves

• Delivering targeted support tailored to individual learning needs.
• Encourage communication and social interaction.
• Assisting with behaviour management strategies.
• Work collaboratively with teachers and SENCOs.

Skills and requirements

• Previous experience supporting SEN pupils is highly desirable.
• Understanding of ASC and communication needs.
• Calm, patient, and resilient approach.
• All candidates must undertake or have undertaken a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.

Confirmed role details

• Length of role: Temp to perm starting September 2026.
• £14.25 – £16.00 per hour.
• Long-term opportunity with potential for permanent employment.
• All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
