SEND Teaching Assistant Doncaster

The Support Worker position centres on to support within a Y4 class with some SEND support. It would suit someone who can bring warm, reliable, and clear in communication to the role.

How the role is set up

At Academics, we’re working on a growing number of exciting long-term teaching assistant contracts, but here’s the catch – we currently have more roles than people to fill them! Children with additional needs to help them with accessing the learning and engagement in the lessons.

Where someone would start

To support within a Y4 class with some SEND support. Whether you thrive in KS1, have a soft spot for KS2, or want a school close to home, we’ll ensure we connect you with the ideal opportunity. Or we have another role to support in EYFS and Y1.

What helps someone build confidence

Warm, reliable, and clear in communication.

What is expected

• If you have a Level 3 qualification and a passion for education, caring and calm with experience of working with children with an education healthcare plan in place.
• Perfect for candidates with similar experience, maybe residential support worker experience.
• Relevant childcare, early years, or classroom-support experience.
