SEND Teaching assistant (Experienced)

As a Teaching Assistant, the work centres on providing 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEND. It would suit someone who can bring this role is ideal for someone who is confident supporting pupils with SEND and is passionate about helping children access education in a supportive and structured environment to the role.

Who the work supports

We're looking for an experienced and dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to work in a well-resourced secondary school in Glastonbury. Understands the importance of safeguarding and child welfare.

How support shows up

Providing 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEND. Working closely with teachers and SENCOs to support EHCP targets and individual learning plans. Able to support learners with patience and structure.

What needs to be in place

• Hold a current DBS check registered on the Update Service, or be willing to apply for one.
• Free DBS (refunded when you work 20 days).
• Right to work in the UK - we are unable to offer Sponsorship or accept Skilled Worker visas.
