• Classroom Assistance: In the classroom, SEND teaching assistants provide practical assistance to students, helping them to stay focused, engaged, and on task.
• They may offer additional explanations, prompts, or encouragement to ensure students understand and complete their work.
• This involves implementing behavior management strategies, offering support during challenging situations, and helping students develop appropriate social skills.

Skills and requirements

• Driving License would be preferred, however this is not essential.
• Previous experience working with children with SEND needs.
