SEND Teaching Assistant
Job description
This Teaching Assistant role is focused on monitoring and record pupil progress and provide feedback to staff. It would suit someone who can bring patient, consistent, and calm in a learner-focused classroom setting to the role.
How the role is set up
You may be supporting students on a 1:1 basis or in small groups, including those with autism, ADHD, speech and language needs, or social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs. Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SENDAssist the class teacher in delivering differentiated lessons.
Where someone would start
Monitoring and record pupil progress and provide feedback to staff. Supporting pupils' emotional regulation and behaviour management. Implement Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).

Patient, consistent, and calm in a learner-focused classroom setting.
What is expected
- Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and all employment breaks must be explained.
- Experience working with children or young people with SEND (school or care setting).
- You must be willing to attend a registration interview.
