This Teaching Assistant opportunity is built around working with children who need extra support with their academic and social skills, either in school or out in the community (building life and employability skills). It would suit someone who can bring this role is supporting pupil’s across Primary & Secondary with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND); Autism, ADHD, Learning Difficulties, Communication Difficulties to the role.

What you would be doing
Working with children who need extra support with their academic and social skills, either in school or out in the community (building life and employability skills). Be assigned to a key class, alongside other support staff and a lead teacher, you will then work as a team to ensure all needs and learning objectives are met in class. Six are searching for experienced Learning Support Assistant’s for a specialist SEN school local to Loughborough.

What you need
- SEN experience is preferred in a school or similar setting (children’s residential, youth work, Psychology degree etc).
- Relevant SEN, teaching, or learner-support experience.
