Senior Accountant focuses on providing support to, and developing junior members.

What the role involves

• Providing support to, and developing junior members.
• Review the work of juniors, resolving technical queries, and having your own portfolio of clients to manage.
• Reporting directly to the Partner.
• Provide support & training to junior team members.

Skills and requirements

• On a day-to-day basis, and depending upon experience.
• Ability to work under pressure and under own initiative essential.
• 4+ years experience.
• ACCA part or fully qualified OR Qualified By Experience.

Additional role context

• Preparing year-end accounts for a range of clients including limited companies, sole traders, partnerships and charities in accordance with FRS102 & other applicable standards.
• Preparing and submitting corporation tax returns and self-assessment tax returns.
• Up to date with accounting training and CPD requirements.
