Senior Accountant focuses on supporting the development of accounts assistants through thoughtful delegation and quality reviews.

What the role involves

• Supporting the development of accounts assistants through thoughtful delegation and quality reviews.
• Process VAT returns, ensuring compliance with accounting principles and company policies.

Skills and requirements

• Relevant finance, accounts, payroll, Excel, bookkeeping, or accounting-system experience may be required.

Candidate fit

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in UK Accountancy Practice.
• Either nearly/newly ACCA or ACA qualified or QBE.
• Have an understanding of the following software: QuickBooks, Xero, Microsoft Products and Taxcalc or Iris.

• Elevation Senior Finance are currently working with a well-establish Accountancy Practice based in West Yorkshire as they look to recruit an Accounts Senior into their team.
• Key Roles & Responsibilities of the Accounts Senior will include.
• Preparation of statutory accounts for Sole Traders, Partnerships and Limited Companies.
