What the role involves
- Supporting the upkeep of the purchase ledger, including the accurate processing of supplier invoices.
- Coordinate weekly payment runs, ensuring they are ready for review and approval.
- Assist in the completion of VAT return submissions.
- Ensure all freight and duty costs associated with incoming stock are recorded accurately and in the correct period.
- Monitoring and verify the accuracy of supplier invoices.
- Collaborate with the Data team on ad hoc initiatives to strengthen and enhance internal controls.
Skills and requirements
- Relevant finance, accounts, payroll, Excel, bookkeeping, or accounting-system experience may be required.
