What the role involves
- Delivering allocated projects on time and within budget.
- Update structural records using client-approved structures management systems.
- Leading the financial and technical performance of allocated schemes.
- Oversee robust risk assessments for all works, inspections, and operations.
- Liaise with clients, auditors, and external stakeholders.
- Managing the outline and detailed design of bridge projects.
Skills and requirements
- Educated to degree level in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- Relevant experience in the design and maintenance of highway bridge structures.
- A full approved UK driving licence.
- Clear communicator with good technical/report writing skills.

- Maintain over 1422km of Scotland’s trunk road network, tackling just about every imaginable task and working round the clock to keep Scotland moving.
- Maintain over 1422km of Scotland’s trunk road network including 1422 trunk road structures in the North West of Scotland for our client, Transport Scotland.
