Senior Bridge Engineer focuses on leading the design and delivery of bridge engineering schemes.

What the role involves

• Leading the design and delivery of bridge engineering schemes.
• Take ownership of project budgets, performance, and programme.
• Managing client relationships and stakeholder engagement.
• Ensure full CDM compliance.
• Support junior engineers and wider team members.
• Ensure compliance with environmental and technical requirement.

Skills and requirements

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Significant experience in bridge engineering and project delivery.
• Chartered or Incorporated Engineer status (CEng/IEng).
• Commercial awareness and project management capability.

• Full‑Time, Permanent.

Candidate fit

• Hybrid (office and remote).
• Maintain over 1422km of Scotland’s trunk road network, tackling just about every imaginable task and working round the clock to keep Scotland moving.
• Maintain over 1422km of Scotland’s trunk road network including 1422 trunk road structures in the North West of Scotland for our client, Transport Scotland.
