What the role involves

• Provide design deliverables that satisfy safety and quality requirements.
• Identify efficient design solutions from scopes and site visits.
• Communicate these to client and project team.
• Develop CAD technicians and more junior designers and graduates.
• Preparing design risk assessments, reports and specifications.
• Design in compliance with relevant technical, professional and water company standards.

Skills and requirements

• 10 years’ relevant design experience in the regulated water industry.
• Clean water and wastewater systems, infrastructure and non-infrastructure design, and both outline and detailed design stages.
• Experience with hydraulic calculations and profiles.
• Degree, HND, or strong technical experience (Technician level considered).
