Senior Civil Engineer focuses on managing civil engineering projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to quality, budget, and timeline requirements.

What the role involves

• Managing civil engineering projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to quality, budget, and timeline requirements.
• Provide technical expertise in civil engineering design, including the use of relevant software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and MicroStation.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, structural engineers, and surveyors, to ensure seamless project coordination.
• Maintaining strong client relationships, understanding their needs and delivering tailored solutions.
• Conduct site visits and inspections, resolving engineering challenges and proposing innovative solutions.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering their professional development and growth.

Skills and requirements

• The ideal Civil Engineer will be Chartered with the ICE and will have at least 6+ years' experience in a similar consultancy-based role.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Professional engineering license (e.g., Chartered Engineer status).
• 6+ years of experience in civil engineering design and project management.

• The company have 5 offices across the UK and their Liverpool office is their latest addition having opened in.
• This office is now home to 10 staff which includes 7 Structural Engineers and 3 Civil Engineers at the moment.
• The right person would be the 4th addition to Civils team.
