This Senior Clinical Pharmacist Community Mental Health opportunity is built around to deliver the established clinical pharmacy service to the CMHTs in Tameside. It would suit someone who can bring patience, clear communication, and care for residents or service users to the role.

How the role is set up

Candidate fitclinical judgement, NMC standards, calm communication, and careful documentation. Neighbourhood Mental Health team, GPs and other HCPs within Primary Care around the use of psychotropic medicines.

Care and support involved

To deliver the established clinical pharmacy service to the CMHTs in Tameside. Develop and evaluate specialist clinical mental health pharmacy services in your area. To provide expert pharmaceutical advice and liaison to the CMHT, GPs, practice pharmacists, other healthcare professionals (HCPs), patients, and carers.

Care skills and requirements

  • Masters degree in Pharmacy (or pre-2000 equivalent).
  • Relevant post graduate qualification, i.e. Diploma.
  • Practice, or Prescribing Sciences (or equivalent experience).
