The Senior Commercial Manager position centres on overseeing the administration of the head contract whilst delegating responsibilities. It would suit someone who can bring ownership, clear communication, and practical organisation to the role.

Where the work sits

Act as Commercial lead on a high profile, high value project (£250 million plus), leading on all elements of contract procedures. Leading the commercial team and work with the commercial director (projects) to create the project execution plan.

How the role works day to day

Overseeing the administration of the head contract whilst delegating responsibilities. Ensure Skanska fulfil contractual entitlements but limit risk. Provide a comprehensive service to address any contractual or commercial issues of the project as part of the Operational Risk Assessment (ORA), supporting strategic tender decisio.

What needs to be in place

• The Senior Commercial Manager will oversee the commercial function of a high-value project upwards of £200 million within the commercial office/mixed use sector.
