Senior Community Support Worker

The Support Worker position centres on our service users are aged 18+ with a wide range of conditions under the following headings. It would suit someone who can bring strong professional approach to the role.

How the role is set up

You will contribute to the delivery of care in accordance with the Health & Social Care Act 2008. You will take the lead in providing personal care, practical & emotional support to our service users in their own homes, giving them the ability to live safely in their own homes.

Where someone would start

Our service users are aged 18+ with a wide range of conditions under the following headings:. Developing relationships and liaising with external health care professionals such as GP, social workers or community nurse. Assisting them with all aspects of care including personal care and medication management.

What is expected

• Do you have experience of working in care and working well within a team, to provide high-quality care to our service users?
• Involve working in all areas of Milton Keynes & surrounding areas, Therefore the ability to drive and a FULL DRIVING LICENSE is very desirable.

• All that we require from you is that you have experience & knowledge caring for people with a variety of conditions, ideally having a NVQ or diploma Level 3 in Health & Social Care.
• Permanent contract up to 40 hours per week.
• Potential to earn enhanced rates for unsocial hours at weekends.
