We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Analyst to join our Data team and take ownership of SQL-heavy analytics, reporting, and data structuring. This is a senior, hands-on role with strong ownership across the analytics layer, including data modeling, pipeline design, and performance optimisation.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams across the company, supporting multi-brand analytics. The role requires advanced SQL skills, strong Tableau experience, and a solid understanding of how large-scale data systems are structured, transformed, and optimised.

Beyond reporting, you will play a key role in ensuring data is reliable, scalable, and structured correctly for analytics and downstream use cases.

Key Responsibilities
  • Write, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries, views, and reports across multiple brands and datasets

  • Develop and maintain Tableau dashboards to visualize KPIs and insights for various teams

  • Support cross-functional teams with both ad-hoc and recurring reporting needs

  • Structure and model data in SQL/ClickHouse to ensure accuracy, scalability, and usability for reporting

  • Design and maintain efficient data transformations to convert raw data into analytics-ready datasets

  • Work with large-scale datasets (including billions of rows), applying techniques such as partitioning, sorting, and pre-aggregation to optimise performance

  • Build and maintain incremental and idempotent data processes to ensure reliable and efficient updates

  • Ensure data quality, consistency, and integrity across multiple data sources and reporting layers

  • Investigate and resolve data discrepancies, working closely with engineering when needed

  • Monitor and optimise query and dashboard performance, identifying inefficiencies and improving execution times

  • Maintain visibility over data freshness and pipeline reliability to ensure trust in data

  • Collaborate with Data & Engineering teams on data architecture, schema design, and analytics workflows

  • Support onboarding of new data sources and brands into the analytics ecosystem

  • Contribute to best practices around version control, documentation, and reproducible data workflows (e.g., Git-based SQL development)

  • Translate data into actionable insights and communicate findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders

  • Understand business KPIs, including financial metrics, and provide insights that inform strategic decisions

  • Work independently, manage multiple priorities, and deliver high-quality outputs with minimal supervision

Required Qualifications
  • Expert-level SQL skills with experience building complex queries, views, and analytical datasets

  • Strong Tableau experience, with ability to design scalable and user-friendly dashboards

  • Proven experience working with large datasets and optimising performance at scale

  • Strong understanding of data modeling concepts (e.g., materialized views, partitioning)

  • Experience working with columnar databases (e.g., ClickHouse or similar)

  • Experience designing and maintaining data transformations and pipelines (ETL/ELT, incremental processing)

  • Strong understanding of data quality practices and validation techniques

  • Experience using version control (e.g., Git) for managing SQL and analytics workflows

  • Exposure to machine learning workflows, particularly feature preparation and dataset management

  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail

  • Proven experience as a Senior Data Analyst or similar role with end-to-end ownership of reporting

  • Experience in online gaming or multi-brand environments (preferred)

  • Strong understanding of business KPIs, including financial metrics, and ability to translate them into actionable insights

  • Strong communication skills with ability to work across multiple teams and document work effectively

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

Benefits
  • Fully remote working environment

  • 25 days of paid time off (PTO) annually

  • Laptop budget provided to support a high-performance working setup

  • Opportunity to work in a fast-paced, multi-brand online gaming environment

  • High ownership and autonomy within the data function
