Senior Data Engineer
Senior Data Engineer focuses on pipeline delivery: design, implement.
What the role involves
- Pipeline Delivery: Design, implement.
- Design & Reviews: Prepare technical design specifications and participate in architecture/peer code reviews.
- System Quality: Identify enhancement opportunities, troubleshoot issues, and establish standard operating procedures.
- Compliance & Support: Ensure IT Controls are met.
- Provide technical support/mentorship.
Skills and requirements
- Core Tech Stack: Strong experience with Snowflake, MS SQLServer , DBT , and Azure DevOps (or similar CI/CD).
- Data Expertise: Solid understanding of data modeling, curation, orchestration, and ETL tools (e.g., Matillion, SNP Glue, Fivetran).
- Engineering Best Practices: Experience with shell scripting, unit testing.
- Test-driven development (TDD).
Confirmed role details
- London (Hybrid: 3 days/week in office).
- Duration: 6 months (possible 12-month extension).
- Inside IR35 (PAYE only).
