Senior Data Engineer

This Senior Data Engineer opportunity is built around design end-to-end Data Pipelines in Microsoft Fabric. It would suit someone who can bring technical problem-solving, documentation, and careful delivery to the role.

Why this role may suit you

This role is Inside IR35, and is for an initial 3 months (with the potential to extend past this date). This role will be based in Edinburgh (2-3 days a week on-site).

Technical work involved

Design end-to-end Data Pipelines in Microsoft Fabric. Develop scalable transformations using PySpark/SparkSQL/Notebooks. Structure data using Lakehouse/Warehouse modelling approaches.

Technical skills and experience

• Strong hands on experience with Microsoft Fabric (OR Databricks).
• Advanced PySpark/Spark SQL.
• Strong Python and SQL/T-SQL capability.

Practical information

• This is a hands-on contract opportunity where you'll be expected to make an immediate impact, designing and delivering production-ready data solutions within a fast-paced environme.
