Senior Data Security Engineer

Job Type: Permanent 

Location: Hybrid – Edinburgh, Telford or Birmingham office. Expected 1–2 days per week in the office, subject to business needs.

The role

As a Senior Data Security Engineer, you’ll lead the design, implementation and optimisation of enterprise data protection solutions across Standard Life. You’ll take hands-on ownership of Microsoft Purview capabilities, strengthen Data Loss Prevention (DLP) controls, and integrate data security signals across our wider Microsoft security stack.

You’ll work closely with architecture, infrastructure, application and security operations teams to deliver secure, scalable and resilient data security services, aligned to regulatory and control expectations in a financial services environment.
