Senior Design Coordinator focuses on design teams and subcontractors throughout detail design, procurement and construction, monitoring progress to ensure delivery on time and in budget.

What the role involves

• Design teams and subcontractors throughout detail design, procurement and construction, monitoring progress to ensure delivery on time and in budget.
• Monitoring work executed Onsite to ensure that is as benchmarked and as designed/specified.

Skills and requirements

• Communicate in order to influence others to ensure that the required objectives are met.
• Ability to review drawings and identify buildability and technical issues.
• Design delivery and assessing risks.
• Effective communication with all levels of management and project teams, both internal and external to the Company.

Additional role context

• Assisting Design Manager with reviewing of consultants detail design drawings and subcontractor designs.
• Promoting design that respects budgetary constraints.
• Reviewing and coordinating design and technical related issues with the Commercial and Operations teams.
